WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY: For value received, we guarantee to repair any leaks to the above roof caused by defects in workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of completion, subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty. Maintenance items such as parapet walls, canales, drains, skylights, pipe jacks, duct work and other such penetrations are covered for 2 years. After such time these areas will be repaired at a reasonable charge.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY: In the event of a leak caused by workmanship, the owner must report the leak within 48 hours. Failure to do so may void warranty. After such notice, if repairs are needed due to no fault of workmanship, such repairs will be made at a reasonable charge. THIS DOCUMENT AND COPY OF ORIGINAL CONTRACT MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SERVICE. Free annual inspections are strongly suggested and are owner’s responsibility to arrange.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY: Any leaks caused by acts of God, including but not limited to: damage caused by wind (refer to manufacturer ratings), hail, tree, fire, or ice dams. Other exclusions, leaks caused by: neglect, misuse, clogged drains, downspouts or canales, structural defects, pre-existing code violations, vandalism, popped nails, stucco cracks, kick holes or any damage caused by foot traffic or similar occurrences. Alterations, modifications or service of any kind made by any other than DRM WILL VOID WARRANTY. Material warranties, if any are by manufacturer only. This warranty does not cover damage to building or contents.
Restrictions: Warranty may be transferred one time. Roof must be inspected prior to transfer. If any defects not covered by warranty are found, these will be repaired at owner’s expense. Inspection fee will also apply.
